Mussolini was livid with it and during his dictatorship he tried all he could to anticipate Napoleon's birthday so that he could .......become Italian. Napoleon always liked Italy (second to France); and this book is illustrated book narrating some of Napoleon's doing in Italy (after the first entry; when he too an army without shoes and scarce ammunitions and conquered the Austrians). Napoleon was and is still liked in Italy (but he was nasty to the Venetian Serenissima Republic). The book is full of illustrations; with lit tle or insufficient information; and as such it is not too informative; but it will do.
